Commissions
Commission a Painting
I take a limited number of commissions each season. If you have something in mind, whether a feeling, a memory, or a color you can't stop thinking about, I'd love to hear from you.
Send me a note with what you're envisioning and I'll be in touch to discuss sizing, timeline, and pricing.
Frequently Asked Questions
How do I request a commission?
Send a note through the contact form or email calliecarranza@gmail.com with what you're envisioning. Share the feeling, memory, or colors you have in mind, along with any reference photos. Callie will reply to talk through sizing, timeline, and pricing.
How much does a commission cost?
Pricing depends on the size and complexity of the piece. Once you reach out and describe what you have in mind, Callie will put together a quote for you before any work begins.
How long does a commission take?
It depends on the size of the piece and how many commissions are already in progress. Callie only takes a limited number each season so every painting gets proper attention, and she will give you a timeframe when you first talk.
What are the prints made of?
Every print is a giclée reproduction on premium white, museum-grade canvas, produced with archival-quality materials for exceptional color and detail. Under proper display conditions they are built to last 100+ years.
Do prints arrive framed or ready to hang?
No. All prints ship un-framed and un-mounted, rolled or flat depending on the size. If you would like a print mounted, framed, or made in a custom size, contact Callie and she can arrange a custom order.
Can I order a print in a size that is not listed?
Yes. The sizes shown on each print are the standard options, but custom sizes are available. Send a message with the size you need and Callie will take care of it.
Are the originals one of a kind?
Yes. Every original is an oil painting on canvas and will never be reproduced as another original. If a painting has sold, prints of that piece are often still available on the Prints page.
